I'm seconding Tim Kidwell's post. If this is a Star Wars diorama, who knows what kind of trees were used "...a long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away." BTW, great work on the water crater.

Nicely done! Not to disagree with Pawel, but I think the shacks are OK. I've done enough barn reclamation work to have seen pretty wide boards 12 and 15 feet long or more. Who knows where these trees came from or what "juice" they've been drinking? Sci-fi leaves some room for explanation.

Anyway, thumbs up on the kitbashing and dio from me.

Great advice! When I did the build, I didn't even think of the scale of the bulsa wood.

For the water, I used 2 part clear epoxy and added a small amount of green and blue acrylic paint to it. The epoxy was purchased on Amazon from a company called Craft Resin.

Looks to me like a great idea, and the execution is very nice, too! If I was to point at something to improve here, that would be the "shacks" - the material they were constructed from looks out of scale - I especially mean the planks. If you take your literal two by four (inches in this case) and do the math for scale (let's say 1:35) then you'll see you get a pretty thin piece. Two by four would be about 50 x 100mm, that gives you roughly 1,5 x 3 mm piece - quite tiny, right?

I like the water filled hole a lot, too - what did you use for water here?
