1/72 Marivox FFVS J 22
Posted by model geek on Sunday, August 8, 2010 12:04 PM

Here's the other project I've worked on over the summer. I developed an interest in Swedish aircraft after doing the P-35A in Swedish markings. The aircraft I choose was the J 22, a design of Swedish origin. The only kit I could find was by Marivox. One of the guys from the Lakes Region Scale Modelers gave the kit to me build (thanks Phil!)

The fit on the kit is pretty good, but the canopy and decals leave alot to be desired. Anyway here's a few pictures.

Yeah, really nice work!  I like seeing some of these ancient posts kicked back to the top if I missed them the first time around.

Kinda reminds me of an Fw-190 from some angles.........................Hmm

.

I'm gonna hafta look for one of these kits to sit next to an early Fw-190.
