This is Hasegawa 1:48 Shinden. I decided to build one in night fighter camo because I always think it would look nice in it. Hope you like the pics
Very cool! I like the base too! Thanks for sharing!

I love it! That's a great version of one of my favorite WWII fighters. Cool idea, and beautifully executed.

Thanks very much for the comments guys. This kit is excellent. The fits were great and no putty was used. The pilot figure is also very good; And the best part is it only cost me $24 quid
Love it! it gives that aircraft a slightly more sinister look.
Wow, that's just all kinds of cool!!!

cnq, you might be interested in seeing another "what-if" Shinden. In this case, a J7W3.

Texgunner, thanks for the link. That jet engine Shinden is very very nice. I was thinking about doing the same thing but did not have the engine part.
Good job, thanks for sharing.
Very cool.
Great job with the figure too.
On the bench: Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build. Yes, still.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked her.
Texgunner, I might build another Shinden with jet engine in future based on your model since I like it very much.

That's great, I'd love to see the pics when your done with it! Mine started out as the prototype also but the little incident I described in the link I posted derailed that plan. After my J7W3 was done I had plans for an even more advanced version, built around a completely scratch-built fuselage with wings from an ancient Lindberg F-100 I had laying around. Maybe someday...
Good luck with your plans! Gary
I like what ifs, and I like this one too, I saw a recent what if of this aircraft earlier this week and it was a jet powered version
