BT=13?

Are there any kits in production or in recent years of the BT-13?  I would like 1:48 but other scales might do.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I think the kits are from a while back, but, you might be able to find one somewhere.

searching on this site is easiest if you know the aircraft company and designation,,,,as you type " Vultee BT-13 " for example, it autofills the results for you.

There has been a recent release in 1/72 by AZ Models.  There are several boxings to represent different markings.  It includes resin and PE details.  I picked one up for a future project – next summer future thanks to school. The one I picked up has markings for either Israeli, Chinese or French Air Forces.  The going price on ebay is about $25.00, a good deal considering the going rate for resin offerings is about double that price.

yikes, after running through my Scalemates link and looking at the Planet Models listing, it led to a vendor with one in stock

store.spruebrothers.com/.../plt166.htm

"only" 70 dollars for a 1/48 kit

the AZ Model/Admiral kit is a little bit better priced, at 21 dollars, but, is "only" 1/72

there are three boxings to choose from, though
