I have started a project which I plan to be a diorama. I have designed a "near future" UCAV so it is not sci-fi, just a few years ahead of what is flying now. I started with a Revell SR-71 kit in 1:72 scale. I am cutting it up and re designing it as I go and using parts wherever I need them. My first problem was the kit was not designed to be shown flying. The cockpit and wheel well covers do not fit closed. I plan to use the parts that are left over as part of the diorama and have a plane being shot down. I will make up a stat sheet for the UCAV. I am also trying to make sidewinder missiles from scratch. I will post pics if I can get photo bucket figured out. Updates as things progress......
