B-25 Apache Princess question?
Posted by ajd3530 on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 10:12 AM
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone could help me about Apache Princess. In all the photos of the restored bird, she has nose art on both side. But the Albatros sheet I have only has nose art for one side. Now I know they changed the nose art when they restored her, because now she has a top on. In the one wartime photo I saw, she did not have a top on. So is it possibly when the restored her and redid the nose art that they went ahead and duplicated it on the other side just for looks?

Thanks!

I think I've seen a site where you can get the correct nose art for many aircraft including without the mods made after restoration and in the correct colors of the period. I'll look and see who that was and get back to you.

The company is Kits World War Bird Decals. They do the correct sets for many many aircraft. I don't know if they made Apache Princess but you can start looking there.
