That's a unique looking scheme that you did a fabulous job of! If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the plaque?

Cheers,

Your Uhu looks smashing! Great clean work overall on that small scale.

You asked about using Flory washes over Alclad, well I just used it on a Mustang that I sealed in Aquagloss and it worked just fine. I guess the Flory Washes don't like Testors gloss enamels in the small bottles.

Thanks guys.

Martin, they are printed in card, I make the design on paint and then put it in a word doc to get the right size. Once cut out I cover it in Fablon and then attach it to a piece of balsa stained the same as the base surround.

PJ, I have no tried it on the Aqua glass only on the Lacquer varnish. It didn't like that.

Gee, a beautiful job and nicely displayed.  Somehow you make a 1/72 look like a larger scale. Very inspiring to me.

Another beauty Bish! Exhaust staining came out greatYes What did you use for the antenna? I'm looking to add one to the Hurricane I'm finishing up. Looking forward to your next build!

Thanks Andy. The antenna wire is 1ib fishing line which I find ideal at this scale. The one I have is a brown colour and its fitted it just looks dark. You could try EZ line for this scale as well.

Pick a nice spot on the shelf for that one. It deserves it for sure.

Gorgeous Bish. The base too. I just got the Tamiya example in 48th which has been beckoning me.

Thanks Joe. I don't know if you saw Silentbobs build of that kit recently, it looks nice. Hope you get to build it soon.

Thats a fine looking 219, Bish!  I like the weathering.  Those antennas look like a pain to put together and a pain to keep together.

Thanks allan. It was not to bad, its just one piece of thread. The trick was to get it tight but not pull the antenna mast back.

Another winner Bish! Very cool looking paint job, as said it's a nice change from the more usual Luftwaffe schemes.

Thanks buddy. This is actually the second single colour German aircraft I have done this year, but that does not come around to often so best to make the most of it.
