Got started!

 

Opening up the crew door...

 

 

Drilled out around the door, then cut it out...

 

 

There is no detail in there and some of the "floor" needs to be cut away to make room.

 

 

I ddin't bother to put "faces" on the equipment, by the door...just sides.

 

 

 

Cobbled some junk together for the opposite wall...

That's a very nice project, and it's lookin' good!

I've once built a 1:33 paper model of the Hawkeye - that thing was big! Sadly, I don't have it any more :-(

Got 'er closed up...

 

Crammed in some lead and a bunch of pennies first...

 

 

Used a piece of spare PE for the ceiling, over the entry...

The majority of assembly is done.

Masked off and painted the window frames black (they're black on the inside)

 

 

Then sprayed grey, for the interior as well.
