Very nicely done, sir.  Can't get over why they left the pilot to just fly the plane.  Even the Dauntless and Avenger had some guns for the guy in front.  Stick a couple of guns in each wing and make it a threat coming and going.  Oh well, its history.  Grst job, and you almost make me want one of these also.

That's some sharp work there Stu! Think this may be the first Airfix Defiant I've seen finished. And I like the day fighter scheme, most of the older CA kit I've seen were of the nightfighter. Kudos sir!

Thank you all for the kind words.  In regards to the day/night fighter: all the parts are there to do the night fighter, you'd just have to figure out where they go and find some decals.

I love it stu! Looks like you nailed the finish quite well and really like the barrel upgrade. Makes me want to dump my old C/A Defiant and wait for this one...any takers? :)
