1/144 Trumpeter Rafale B NATO Tiger Meet 2006

Hello! I made this last March (built during the time I began experimenting with some techniques I looked up), it was a fairly neat kit (Though the Revell version was way better), but there is very little choice in this pocket-sized scale as this is the only one available. It was a fairly simple kit, things went together quite well and without a fuss. Built it OOB, my only issue is that the manual did not indicate the metallic portions of the Rafale, so I took my time finding a proper profile of the scheme to see where I should paint.

Hand-brushed with Vallejo Acrylics, my preferred brand (except for metallic colors)

I found the decals for the R.550s to be too short, so I painted along the missing sections instead. I found the decals to be quite thick, had a hard time making them shrink down and blend into the panels with all those softeners and setters I put.

Wow, you did an excellent job by hand brushing this kit!  I love the overall finish and the decals.  Just Awesome!

Holy cow!!!! I had to go back to the top to reread the first post. I thought it was a 1/48 scale model. Excellent work Enzo.

Very nicely done, sir.  My hats off to a hand paint job and making the decals work.
