Pretty basic kit Gang, but fills its niche in Max's 1/48 Comparitive Air Museum which is really my office. Also, (long story) the only military aircraft I ever flew. (didn't take off, didn't land but ran the stick for awhile!)

Unlike Mike Brendos, who really can make a silk purse from a sow's ear, this is just my standard build.LOL!

I also find the photography presentation fun and this one comes through Imageshack which is much sharper. I'm starting to really like the side view in my presentations which I find very realistic. I have two non-conflicting hobbies; Model building and photography-both fun! Check it out.

Nice-looking Texan, Max.

Brave man, you, doing a whole model in yellow. Smile

Curious about the flaps (they look good). Don't look like PE, what's the scoop?

Hey Greg, I'd like to claim those flaps but it came with the kit.  Smile

Ah !

What a refreshing sight ! A very nice model of a really neat old bird in a gorgeous color . I get tired of Camo , Silver and low viz Grey planes .This is one nice job . Both in the build and the photos .Thank You . T.B.

Looks really good. I built this same kit same color recently. But I notice you're missing your forward canopy piece.

I too thought I'd lost the canopy piece but it has several options on canopy openings. The pilots canopy is slid back in this option. It came with extra pieces to do it either way after I looked it up on the instructions. Scared me for a moment!

Thanks, Max

That is a beautiful finish!  I love the way your yellow came out.  It's such a difficult color to utilize.  At least for me.  Fantastic Job!

Very nice!

I really dig the T-6. I've only built one of these kits, but have another 4 back in the stash. The one I built was for a local T-6 owner...I too, got a little stick time...AWESOME!!! My avatar pic was from that flight.

Pretty simple scheme to replicate! He flies with "The Screamin Rebels" airshow team...which is now one plane short, crashed on landing after the show at my local airport.

Also part of "Screamin Rebels".

Also have a "walk around" album of our other resident (Also a "Screamin Rebel") for anyone interested.
