F-8fanatic

Don't see it mentioned anywhere, but a larger scale OV-1 Mohawk would be a MASSIVE opportunity for show-stopping cockpit mods, and more.  Did anyone ever make an OV-1 in any scale?  I do not recall ever seeing one.  I'm a fan of the O-birds, and now that we have a decent OV-10, a 1/32 scale Mohawk would pair up nicely.

Roden does the OV-1 family in 1/48. I have the OV-1A in my stash but haven’t built it yet. Looks good in the box. I can’t comment about fit.

How about a 1/32 scale RF-101C?  That would be sweet, and would probably sell well.  It's a well enough known subject but underrepresented in plastic modeling.  I'd love to have one to put next to the 32 scale RF-4.  Even a good 1/48 scale kit would be great, as I hear the Kitty Hawk kit is a real bear to put together.

The F-4D Skyray in 1/32 would be cool too.

How about a decent 1/48 scale B-45? The 1/72nd scale Mach 2 kit is sorely lacking.

Now that would be a beast, be nice though. Some new 72nd 111's would be welcome, the hase kits are not easy to find.

I'd like to see a De Haviland Puss Moth in 1/72. I have the Guillows stick and tissue kit, but something smaller in plastic would be great.

I'd jump on big time for a 1/32 F-111. I was also about to say that a 1/32 F7F Tigercat would be really nice....then, I saw the HPH offering on ebay for $417......!!!!! WOW....guess I won't be building that one for some time.....

Did I mention earlier: a good P-51H in 1/48 scale?

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

If we are voting a B-36 Peacemaker is on my wishlist. Don't care what size. I just want one on my shelf. B-1 is another close contender as I haven't found many at my normal venues. Best of luck on your business venture either way though!

wonder how big one of those would be in 1/48.

current projects:

1/48 Revell bf109 g10

1/144 Revell Apollo Saturn V

on deck:

unknown scale Revell sr-71 blackbird

As I mentioned previously, HpH brought out a 1/48 B-36 last year.  You can see more about it here:

So, what's the status of this project?  The last update that talked about any action was back on March 9-some CAD designers were beginning to work on designs.  How far are you from producing sprues?

Hi,

I ran across something on the internet today that I had about before but forgot about till now, the Goodyear Inflatoplane:

AO-2

AO-3

As I understand it, these planes were originally concieved as a "rescue plane" for downed aviators.

Not sure, but having the 1/72 hanging from my son's BR ceiling I can tell you it would take a significant amount of styrene...and even more patience...a LOT more.

There's at least one who should be-the original poster.  He said he is starting up production of injection-molded kits, and so, he created this thread as a poll.  That's why I asked in my latest poll about the status of his project-we haven't heard from him in a while.

I'd like to see more of the ships of Jutland in 1/350 in plastic.

Seydlitz came out last year from Hobby Boss or Trumpeter.

ICM makes some Konig class battleships.

I would like to see HMS Iron Duke or HMS Lion.
