WIP: 1/144 Minicraft Tempest Mk.V

So this was an impulse buy as part of a group build I was messing around with, and it has been a bit of a chore with some misaligned parts, but it's fun nontheless.

The kit offered two schemes - a 1944 bird with invasion stripes and a postwar plane that just had the normal camo. For some reason I decided I wanted to mask incvasion stripes in 1/144. It took some math, but nothing that my memories of 10th grade algebra couldn't handle.

I painted it with Tamiya paints, masking off the stripes but freehanding the rest. Then I masked and shot the leading edges of the wings before adding the decals. Next up is to airbrush the exhaust stains and add the prop and gear.

Very nice, especially at that scale.  Not going there with my shaky hands.  I wouldn't lose parts to the carpet monster, I'd probably lose the whole airplane.

I can vouch for it being pretty resiliant as I've dropped it twice.
