Looking very sharp Lawdog. The short lived 1941 overall light gray “low vis” scheme is seldom modeled. You did excellent work on this. Your weathering gives it a nice well worn look. Well done sir!

The markings are typical of pre war large scale maneuvers, and not a specialized aggressor scheme like those adopted by the USN/USAF with Top Gun and Red Flag. Usually there was a red or orange force, and a blue force, depicted in some sort of prominent temporary markings over the standard paint scheme of the time. Umpire equipment would have white markings.

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Hoss WA

Another absolutely spectacular build Lawdog! I really like the shading and fading. It makes the model.

Thanks Hoss. That's what I was going for. Grey can be boring.

Mopar Madness

Yeah I've tried the Eduard flaps once on an Fw190. They were a pain in the butt too. I told myself that was it. Tongue Tied

That is such a beautiful aircraft with a livery you don't see very often. Such affective weathering too.

Thanks Mopar. Yep, never again.

Looks great, Joe. Any troubles you may have had are well hidden within your skills.

Thanks Stik. The information is appreciated thanks. I've only seen the Red Cross and never the other colors. The blue wouled have been cool too.

It turned out beautifully, as is usual with your builds. I'm watching the P-38 very closely.
