I suspect the after market guys are salivating over the trumpeter kits. Smile [:)]

Not even close to an FM-2 profile. I read the HyperScale post, pulled out my Tamiya 1/48 kit for eyeball comparison too, and it looks like absolute crap except as an aftermarket set for the Revell F4F.

The 1/32 Corsairs better be a whole lot more on the ball.

Well, it looks like the screwed the pooch on this one. What I'm wondering is if this is closer to an FM-2 profile? I don't have a good reference for an FM-2 though. Just photos and they can fool you. Anyone know?

I hope they get the Corsair right!

Bad News for anyone waiting for this kit. Recent kit preview on Hyperscale web site is very negative. So bad that Squadron has posted an offer to cancel/refund advance orders on the kit. Check it out at www.hyperscale.com under "whats new" section.Sad [:(]
