                        AAAhhh!! AAhhhh!!! Is that the problem I'm having now.
                        lol. ...Can't be worst then "Ground Zero" dust I sucked in.
                        It's not good for the TV screen either

                        Be extremely careful with resin dust..! It will mess up your lungs pretty badly.

                        After a lot of sanding with 4000 grit (removing some of the old paint), and another cleaning. The paint is now taking.......
                        NOTE TO SELF: Hide the Air Brush from the wife when she wants to help the kids do a school project, because she doesn't know how to CLEAN IT.
                        Not knowing my Air Brush was a mess, didn't help me.

                        Funny, I usually use a dk. grey or black as a primer. It sticks for me. This is after I give it a mild wash thou.

                        Clean resin parts with a good degreaser, then prime them using automobile primer. Spray cans of the stuff can be bought cheap at discount stores. You can find three basic colors of auto primer-- Light Gray, Black Oxide, and Red Oxide.

                        It is very important to wash the resin first, as manufacturers use a mold release agent that doesn't accept paint at all well.

                        yes, I always prime my resin (and metal) bits. Give the next coats something to bite on.

                        I already posted in the past about getting my hands on a 1/32 scale "Scratchbuilders TBM Avenger" an all Resin kit. This is the first time I ever worked an all resin kit. It's kind of hard, but fun. That's what this hobby is all about. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody out there has ever worked with resin. I started painting this plane with an air brush, using Model masters paint. It doesn't seem to stick on some parts of the plane. It worked great on the puddy spots. I cleaned the plane before painting. Does Resin need some kind of primer?? Question [?]
