I posted a topic about the Braniff color schemes and what paints to mix to get the green colors. I got some views but no replies. Any help in that regard, I would appreciate.

Hi:
I belong to yahoo's airliner modelling forum. The subject of Braniff is often brought up. I have provided you with a link at the bottom to the braniff history page. It contains most, if not all the fleet registrations, liverys, and all the history. I hope this helps. please let me know if this has been any assistance to you. Also, if you would like, you are welcom to join the forum. It just is about airliner modelling. if any body else woud like to join, search in the yahoo groups under the hobbies, then models, then aircraft, or just type in airlinermodelling if there is any text search options. i encourage to join. many of the companies that make the decals are members, and those that just do it for the hobby are knowledgeble about tracking down decals. sorry for the long reply.

There's lots of decals available for Braniff aircraft. Check out the Airline Hobby Supplies website.

Braniff info?

I'm doing a little research into a project I'd like to begin and am looking for some help.

I grew up an 'airline brat' and I have some great memories of being in airports and seeing all the differnet planes and airlines. Two that always stood out are Hughes Air West and Braniff.

I'm working on beginning a project to create a 'stable' of Braniff aircraft in each of their different pain schemes.

The questions are this:
1. Where can I find out more about the airline and it's history?
2. The painting I can handle, but the decals are going to be tough...any ideas out there on this?
