If you want to build large planes in large scales, and you want something different than the Revell, Monogram kits, you need to build vacuforms. Check out this link http://www.swiftsite.com/rosemonthobby/combat.htm
They carry Combat Models Vacuforms where you can find such interesting items as:
1/32 Junkers Ju-52/3m/g3e/g7e, Messerschmitt Me-410 A-1 Hornet, B-25 H/J Mitchell, B-24 D/J Liberator
1/48 PBY4-2 Privateer, Kawanishi H6K5 Mavis, C-123 "Provider", BV-222 "Wiking", PBM-5 Mariner, A3D Skywarrior
1/72 Boeing 314 "Clipper", Martin JRM-1 'Mars", C-124 "Globemaster", C-17 " Globemaster III"
and many others. Word of warning, these are basic kits, ie no details (landing gear, props, etc) but the same site also has listing of detail sets by Roberts Models designed for several of the 1/32 and 1/48 kits.
I have also seen vacuform kits by ID Models of a P2V Neptune and P-3 Orion in 1/48 but can't find any links on the web for these.
