Does anyone have any spare parts for this kit? Tamiya currently does not have the part I need replaced. It is part # 5 from parts tree H. This part allows tail wheel to retract. Mine broke the first time I tried to retract tail wheel. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Don't have that part.

Just saying that I am shocked that Tamiya doesn't have the part you want.
I am pretty sure that they could order the part fom their factory in Japan.

Check if your Instruction sheet has the little thingy for ordering spares(you know the thing that says "For japanese use only" or similar) and check for the order number for the runner.
FYI, Tamiya ONLY sells you the whole runner NOT individual pieces (actually most companies do that), there usually is a charge associated with it.

Tamiya has so far never refused to sell me a runner when I needed spares, the parts I don't need to go the spares box.

there should be a "cutout" thing that has a circle and a letter inside; that is the sprue.

there is a different charge for different sprue's. check xe.net for conversion rate

Tamiya rep. said they did not have this parts tree in stock and he could not order it from JAPAN. He said he only has parts trees from damaged or returned kits. He does not have this particular tree at this time. Thanks
