I'm converting Trumpeters TBM-3E in 1/32 to a Canadian Navy version circa 1955 where they removed the turret and extended the canopy back. How do I make that extention?

I would use the "heat samsh mold" techniques. Basically you make a master, slightly smaller then the shape you want and then form heated splastic over the mold. Here is a tutorial I found, this guy uses a special product but I found that packedging material can work just as well.
