Revell's 1/48 kits of the Super Hornet are reviewed quite well online. Definitely the best bang for the buck out there. One release comes with full weapons load, while another skimps in that department. I have one in my stash and it is a beauty in the box, but I have not gotten around to building it yet.

The Revell kit reviews very well,I built the Hasegawa version, and it is a beautiful kit,but it does cost more.

I could be wrong but I don't think Revell makes the F version.  For a two-seater I think you're only option in 1/48 is the Hasegawa.

The link does not work if (like myself) you are not a current subscriber to the magazine.

Revell does a F model also. Here is a review that does not need a subscription to read.

Italeri also does a 1/48 F. Not one of their better kits. I have it in my stash. Detail is a bit on the soft side.

Hasegawa has a 1/72 "F" model. It fits together well and looks good, but is overpriced unless you can find it second hand.

I've built a couple F/A Hornet kits by Hasegawa. Both are fun yet you pay for what it's worth. Oh yeah - they're worth it. LOL!

This.

You can get the 1/48 Revell F/A-18E for $20 or less (if you use a 50% off coupon from Hobby Lobby).  I haven't seen any -F models in a while in the stores but you can find them on eBay.  They usually go for a bit more...like $30.

They are great kits for the money.

For whatever reason, the Revell 1:48 F/A-18F was only released for a short time, even though they continue to make the -E.  Hoping they bring it out again sometime.

If I'm not mistaken the Revel F/A-18E and Hasegawa F/A-18F were reviewed in the same issue of Finescale some time back.

The Hasegawa F/A-18E is no the right and their C on the left.
