FW-190 Brake Lines

Couple of ways to do it tankster.  If you can find the correct size wire for the smaller size with a plastic insulator on it just strip the wire for the thin part and leave the insulator for the thicker part.

My favorite way is to use thin solder for the thicker part.  I roll it under a file to give it a little texture.  The stuff from Radio hack is rosin core so the center is more or less marked and it and be drilled out to accept the thinner wire.

I normally use fuse wire on mine. For my 72nd aircraft, I find 5 amp is about the right size, not sure about 32nd. But the wire from Fruil tracks would be to thin. Not sure about the thicker wire at the bottom, there a connector between them, maybe a piece of thick styrene rod and insert the two pieces of wire into that.

Marc, now that's nice, I like the effect you have on the cable. So that's just solder wire that's been run under a file.

Here's what I got so far.  I'm gonna repaint it as I found some seam lines along the wings that need fixing. and I gotta wait for my Ultracast gun barrels to come in as the kits barrels are horrendous.

I mixed up all the colors from Tamiya and I think I got them just about right. 

Michaels and some other craft stores have a big selection of fine wire in their "beading" hobby section.  Lots of sizes and finish colors.
