Newbie requesting help selecting WWII aircraft kits in (1/32) size?

Hi,  I'm taking up modeling agin after a long (40 yr) absence.  I am extremely interested in WWII aircraft.  I had read some of the kit reviews and I am concerned about some kits being above my potential as I am not skilled in having to alter/modify kits to make pieces fit flush, etc.   I will certainly learn these skills moving forward but I am looking for kits that will look good (fit wise) right out the box.   I am thinking 1/32 (and maybe 1/48 scale) and would greatly welcome kit recommendations for the P38, P51D, Corsair, Spitfire Mk 1, B17, Zero, Bf 109, FW 190, etc.    Thanks for your time.    Tim.
