I've even thought about getting in touch with both Boeing and the National Museum of Naval Aviation just to see what might be availible.

Since the photo of the BD-1 on Wiki came from the San Diego Air and Space Museum photo archives, try there for more photos of the BD-1/2.  One thing though, is that since there were only 9 planes and being a target tug/hack, it wasn't glamorous like the TBD or SBD, so there weren't many photos made of it.

I found the pictures and such for the JM-1, but the BD-1 is more elusive

Google Images is your friend for the JM-1.  Squadron doesn't have a new In Action book out yet, but the new ones are pretty thorough.  For the BD-1/2, Wiki has a photo of a BD-2 from 1944.  Try contacting the NA museum about photos and bases used.

Looking for pictures of the Douglas BD-1 (A-20 Havoc) and Martin JM-1(Marauder)

I'm working on building up the collection of aircraft the Navy/Marine Corps have flown though the years and two of the most obscure are the Douglas BD-1 Havoc and Martin JM-1 Marauder, both were used as high speed target tugs.

I only have one picture of a BD-1 in Marine colors at Page Field on Parris Island. Even the old Squadron In Action book doesnt have pictures of one. My pictures of the JM are limited to a few pictures of it in the Sqaudron book, "Wings of Gold" about Navy and Marine aircraft from 1941 to 1945.

Just wondering if anyone could help me out, with pictures of them or units they flew with so I can track them down on the interwebs.

Anyway, thanks for looking and the help
