Thank you very much, that's exactly what I needed to know. Tell your dad thank you as well, both for the info and his service

On the exterior, the aircraft from the French and JASDF are virtually identical to the USN's aircraft. The real differences are mostly internal and classified.

Source: My dad who worked on the E-2C and works for Northrop Grumman. Which reminds me... I've been looking for some schematics of the F-14D...

 In progress:

CAD:

1/35 SINCGARS ICOM/ASIP; 1/35 Flat screen TVs; 1/35 tactical light that I shall reveal later Devil

Models:

1/35 DML M4A1 DV; AFV Club M18 Hellcat; DML StuG IV; DML Armored Jeep w/ .50 cal; Panda Cougar 4x4 MRAP; Academy M3A1 Stuart; 1/700 Midship Models USS Miami; 1/700 Skywave Rudderow Destroyer Escort

The only other thing that I can think of that might be different are small antennas peculiar to communications and other avionics equipment in use at any given time. GPS & LORAN stuff, data links, etc.

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

As far as I can find information on it the differences for different operators are all internal to the aircraft.

I'll check my source.

Chasing the ultimate build.

If I were to get the 1/48 Kinetic E-2C Hawkeye in French Navy or JASDF markings, would I be able to convert it to a USN aircraft by changing JUST the decals? Or does the kit change physically as well?
