Hi everyone!
My great grandpas brother Jack flew a B-24 H known as "Final Approach" for his first 10 missions in France in 1944. My dad commissioned me to build a 1/48 scale model of his B-24. Luckily there were a lot of reference photos of it online. here are some pictures of the actual plane.

I used the old Revell B-24J model kit and did a few modifications to make it an H version of the B-24. Since there are no decals for this particular B-24 I had to make masks of the nose art, 7V, Q, and white circle with a black K. The Yellow serial number is a dry transfer from Woodland Scenics. I painted it with Model Master Acrylics and weathered it with Vallejo pigments.
