Finished: Trumpeter Me 262B
Posted by cnq on Friday, August 29, 2014 1:13 PM

I've just got this one finished. The camo is all hand painted. I could not find any good pictures of "10" so I did the camo followed instruction from Trumpeter but decided to go a bit tighter between the marks since I feel it would be  more accurate.

Nice, I do like the look of the scheme, I never realised it was such a wide range of colours, its really hard to tell from the pics of these aircraft. I take it this is 32nd scale.

Beautiful job with the camo!  I feel for the poor guy that had to do it on the real one.

Hi Bish,

In general the fits are good but you do need putty when matching engines to the wings and also between main fuselage and wings. The provided PE seat belts are quite stiff and pose a bit of problem when install. Otherwise I don't have too many issues with this kit.

Cheers, i'll keep that in mind. I have an Eduard BIGED set which include PE belts but I am thinking about getting fabric ones.

Good thing Eduard is coming out with fabric seat belts. Though I wonder how they make them?

Thanks guys ( and Theuns for the link).

I've found a decent b&w pic of this aircraft although it's not my "10"
