Outstanding job, Steve! I just finished the Hasegawa 1/32nd scale of that same plane, and mine came out no where near the quality of yours. Very, very nice!

Thanks Guys!! I had a lot of fun working on the paint scheme on this one. I was worried about getting the motteling right, but I'm very happy with the result.

I love those red-bottomed Doras Steve, and the upper paintwork on yours looks spot-on as well. Nicely done sir.

Tamiya 1/48 Fw-190D-9 Red 3

Here are some photos of the Tamiya 1/48 Fw-190D-9 Red 3 of JV-44 which was the personal aircraft of Hptm. Waldemar Wubke. This kit is quite nice to build in typical Tamiya fashion. This is totally OOB with the exception of an Ultracast seat. I used the profile photos from the book The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Dora volume 2 by Jerry Crandall for the paint scheme.
