Nothing special, Got this for a gift several years ago, I glued the fuselage together without fixing the seam and put it in a box for a while before I picked it up again. No weathering and mostly handbrushed. I loved the plan so much I picked to Revells Corsair from Michaels.

Looks great. That finish is very nice for hand brushing. I like the base too.

One tip:  if you put a wash of very thinned black over the details of the engine, it would really improve it.

Gotta agree.  LOVE the finish especially in the overhead shots.  The hand-brushing of kits is getting to be a lost art these days.  I love seeing it when people finish their planes via that mathod.  I know it's an old kit and isn't the definition of absolute accuracy but it's still a fun kit none-the-less.  That's the most important part.

Kudos on the great model and thanks for sharing!

Absolutely!  Great job on the hand brushing!  Much better than I could ever do.  I did Revell's kit several months ago.  Not all that bad, to be honest.  The canopy is a female dog, but other than that a fairly easy kit.  Gotta agree... Kudos!  Raymond

Great job on the hand-brushed paint. I would've thought spray can, at the very least.
