Hi Guys -- Quick question - for Lothar vRicthofen's plane, there is a mysterious paint reference for the panels that are background for the Maltese crosses -- (references are Gunze / Mr Color- it simply reads as a' HX over an X' -- it seems to be a darker yellow, pretty much a Doped Linen or even a  '43 Dunkelgelb ----just want to see if anyone here has insight as to the correct color

see page 9 :

Thanks!

Looks like the original finish, streaky olive green on linen.

According to Fokker Aces of World War I (Osprey)"This overpainting was, in places, thinly applied, allowing some of the camouflage and solid-olive cross fields to show through as a darker yellow (pp. 34 and 92)."

Sounds like that's what the instructions are trying to reproduce.
