3 de fevereiro de 2011 means February 3rd, 2011, which is just shy of 4 years old

not a big deal, except that any "news" or any "upcoming" items covered might be long since finished, or might be missed dates

The "Belle" was originally scheduled for display a Wright Pat this year.  I just read on the museum's website that the date is now 2018.  If you get a chance, the museum has a weekly tour of their restoration facility where the "Belle" is the star of the show.  Check out the Museum of the United States Air Force website.  Along with a virtual tour, showing nearly all the aircraft, there are many great stories about the facility and the precious contents it holds.

The Memphis Belle wasn't "found."  It had been on loan from the Air Force Museum to the city of Memphis, Tn. and was displayed on Mud Island.  The Air Force Museum noticed that the Belle wasn't being properly cared for and was deteriorating.  So, they took their property back and are now giving it a proper restoration.  When finished it will be displayed at the AFM at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

Thanks for the heads up.  She's on my bucket list of things I want to build, and this will sure come in handy.  I'm glad to see they found her and are restoring her.  My Spanish bites, did they give a completion date?  Raymond
