Help rigging 1/72 WWI aircraft

You may want to try Wonder Wire. I've heard of good results with it.

I've always had pretty good results with stretched sprue in 1/72 scale. It's easy to measure and fiddle into place, attaches neatly (and quickly) with white glue on a toothpick, and is surprisingly strong and knock-resistant. (Plus, with the white glue, if you do need a repair, it's neat and easy to redo.)

I used it on a couple of Airfix Spad VIIs I did before the WW1 GB last year. Here's a link if you'd like to take a look:

I use stretched sprue with white glue as well. After it dries you can tighten them up by using VERY low heat. I use, believe it or not, smoke from a incense stick or firecracker punk. They tighten right up.

I've had trouble getting stretched sprue to stretch to a consistent diameter. I guess I need to practice more.
