Well, if Trumpeter didn't learn it's lesson, there will undoubtedly be many entrepreneurs rushing to market  resin parts designed to correct flaws in the kit.

Hmmmm....now that you mention it.......................I saw one on line article in which the bloke used the landing gear spats from an old Revell Ju-87B

Ye, I have heard others mention using bits from older kits to correct things. There is one resin correction set from a small company but it needs to work to bring the detail up to the same level as the kit.

I  never knew this detail set existed for the Trumpeter kit: 

Seems a shame to pay good money for a kit only to replace what may be perhaps one quarter of the exterior parts.

Sure hope Trumpeter gave the project to a design team that has a history of produced a good kits.

Ye, that's the one I was talking about. As you can see from the pics, there is no rivet detail on the correction set and so it really stands out when fitted. This issue with the kit has really put me off what is a subject I would really like to get in this scale. Some might say just get it and live with it, but that's just not me. I had hoped hase would come to the rescue, but no luck there.

I did a brief search for the Trumpeter Anton, hoping to turn up a review.

So far, no joy.

Considering that Squadron Shop ( USA ) is advertising a price of $71.19 USD, I would really prefer to see some good reviews before plunking down my hard earned cash.

One major reason I left the hobby during the 1990s was due to not knowing just what the kit might be like until after I spent my money. 

I am that way to a certain degree. If it was a 72nd kit and was my only option for a subject I really wanted, I would get it and do what I could. But as 32nd is only my second scale, despite being a subject close to my heart, I would rather live without that put up with those errors.

As much as I would like to get the A, I am also waiting for reviews. But I do wonder if this A kit is a bit of wishful thinking. Given the large range of B and D kits, I am guessing there is a reason for the limited number of A's, namely one kit in 72nd but in 3 boxing's. I was surprised to see a 32nd being released, so I do wonder if anyone will go to the effort of a review. But I live in hope.

Special Hobby did the Ju-87A in 1/48, Bish, and it's a pretty good kit.  48007.

Right, I didn't know they did a 48th kit. Its them who made the 72nd kits and that's pretty nice.
