Wow that is a great site! I think I'm going to do the 1/72 Hasegawa, it's still plenty big especially for this medium bomber!

Italeri did release a 1/48 B-25, but it is a C/D model (it's actually a repop of the Accurate Miniatures kit). The only J model in that scale that I am aware of is the Revell, and it is available in both gun nose and bomber nose.

Converting to a J model isn't recommended--the rear fuselage is a different shape. Try scalemates.com, they have a pretty comprehensive list of kits.

B-25J Mitchell recommendation for the "Ave Maria"

I'm trying to recreate a B-25J, specifically from the 447th Bomb Squadron, 321st, the "Ave Maria" Kits World make a 1/32 and 1/48 decal set for this aircraft.

Revell makes a 1/48, the 1/32 is too pricey for me, and I don't see any decal sets for the Hasegawa 1/72.

I did a search here and it looks like Italeri makes a 1/48 kit? Can't seem to find that one either. My google-fu is weak this morning.
