Well, I have all the RLM colors in Mr Color. So, I guess I'll get started on it shortly and try out Mr Color. I believe I've used it once before using it's thinner and was pleased with how well it laid down. But this is a bigger job too. Thanks for confirming the color for me fellas.

Boring or not, RLM 66 it is. You cannot trust the museum restored pieces as though they try to keep things real, they use what the budget will allow and what's available at hand.

Well, the only thing better than building these old war birds is to have a chance to see them alive. I believe this is the only operational Me410 in the world. I may be wrong, but how many can there really be? Just listen to the superchargers whine!!

Brandon: I'm on the tail end of my ME410 put decals on this afternoon, be very carefull of the radar antenna on nose. These are very dellicate I broke mine so I now I need to contact Revelle also watch the cockpit installation mine gave me a bad time. Also use acc to attach the wings these also gave me a bad time, have fun with yours it's a typical Revelle kit.                    ACESES5                      Welcome Sign

Actually I like to paint and weather up dark gray cockpits. Dark washes and light drybrushings really pop out.

Yep, what Nathan said. Unfortunately, military cockpits are not meant to be nice and shiny and full of bright colours, especially a night fighter.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

RLM 66 Blak Gray. Nothing else. The photo you posted looks like some of the RLM 76 on the fuselage  outside got painted in the cockpit too for some reason. Its a museum example, so anything goes. Tough to know whats original and whats not. Some circuit breaker panels or radios might have been painted black, along with some instrument faces and housings, otherwise the overall cockpit color should be 66.

RLM interior colors

I am getting ready to start my Me410 and while doing some photo research I find that most of the images I see the interior sides are a aqua blue 'ish color with everything else grey black. I cannot find any information that states that there is any other color inside other than the grey black. Can any of you RLM experts lend me some information on this.

I also found this, which I found helpful.  http://www.swannysmodels.com/Painting.html

Here is a photo like some I have found.
