Just what I wanted to hear!  Thanks a bunch for looking it up for me Rex.

The Detail & Scale has two shots of the leading edge flaps down with the wings folded, one is a TA-7C and the other is an A-7E. In both cases, the inner wing flaps are down, but, the outer wing flaps are up on the folded outer wings.

Almost all of the other shots I have seen of the A-7 with the wings folded show both the inner and outer leading edge flaps in the up position.

So, it seems that you could do it however you wanted. (one really neat shot shows all four leading edge flaps down, as the wings hit about "half folded" while the crew is looking things over)

A-7 Corsair II question
Posted by Caveman on Friday, November 7, 2014 3:09 PM

Hey everyone.

Anyone know if the slats can be in the lowered position if the wings are folded?  Any photos I have found always have the slats up, even if the flaps are down.  Strange question I know, but I want to pose my kits parts correctly.  All help is very appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim
