Thought I'd share this one with you guys and gals. This is the 1/32 Revell kit with the CMK resin cockpit.
More pics and other work can be seen on Facebook
Great work all around! Especially the clear parts. They look all shiny and perfectly masked. The RLM 71 looks a bit too brown though, it could be the monitor or camera's fault.
Looks great!
Nice job. I'm starting to believe the Revell kits really aren't all that bad in the rights hands. Great work!

Georgeous build, Thanks for sharing
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Beautiful, that paint job is simply fantastic! I would be proud of that one.

Whistlingdeath ay?
Just an outstanding build. I must be at McDonalds cuz I'm lovin' it.

That looks fantastic! What weathering techniques did you use? Pre-shading, post-shading, washes, etc.? That finish is just excellent.
Mike
Yeah, that's a honey alright! Beautiful big model; you must have a large display cabinet. I agree that the glass-work is terrific too.

Nice work.
I echo Buckeye's questions.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments.
Tex, this one is currently on the top of a bookcase. It's just a wee bit too big for my normal shelving. The crazy thing for me was how it's not actually much bigger than a 1/32 P-47.

I use a technique where the model is primed in black. You then build up a patchwork of the main color. I use a combination of both the base color and then the base color both lightened and darkened.
Then with some post shading
When weathering time comes after decals it's a combination of airbrush streaking and artist oil filters and streaks.
The first pics were taken before I was taking the photography seriously, so they aren't great. I'll be documenting the entire process much more thoroughly with my current build when it gets to painting.
Thanks for the info! I think your technique gets amazing results. Will be looking forward to seeing your current build.
Phenomenal 88 and interesting paint technique. Now can we get one in 1/48 to appease my Battle of Britain needs???

I have the Pro Modeler 1/48 Ju88A-4 in my stash and I hope to get to it while I'm still in this universe.
This 1/32 model is an inspiration.
