Hi everyone, here is my latest build just finished. The Yak-38, This aircraft fascinates me, it is such an awkward looking thing, not as graceful looking as some aircraft. I really enjoyed the build, I used Akan paints on this one and they are great paints to work with. I added some lead wire on the landing gear, otherwise it is OOB. I lost a couple of decals due to folding up on themselves and no matter what I did I could not fix them so I left them off. Thanks for looking.
Great build, how was the fit on this kit?

Thanks mate, overall it was good, a little trouble around the intake to fuselage area, nothing major though.
Just stunning! Great work on a rarer subject. Nice soft colors. Are these the Akan acrylics? Are they thinned with alcohol? They look like they preformed great for you.
Akan acrylics yes, I used Vallejo airbrush thinners with them, no problems and real nice paints to work with.
wow, that ia great. you are the magic person!!!
Very nice build.

Very good looking model of a truly ugly aircraft!
Good looking kit. You did a bang up job on that one.

Hey Grant, thanks for building something we don't see very often. I love unusual subjects and this bird does qualify. It looks really nice too, bang up job on her!
