The wingfold was easy enuf. Scribe through the wing seams with an exacto blade until you finally scribe through it - then just clean it up a bit. The wingfold detail is not meant to be incredibly accurate. I used a few pictures of actual wingfolds and then cobbed together some of the major details with tiny bits of styrene sheet and square and round rod.
There is one error with the dropped flaps - I failed to cut the flaps on the outer wing portions (that fold up). Oh well, next time . . .
I was pretty pleased with the results. The only thing that I don't like is the super glossy finish. It's quite overpowering in this scale - but dead flat wouldn't really be right either. I'm really looking for something in between. Hmmm. May be I'll try something - but more likely - I'll just let this one go for now.
