BlackSheepTwoOneFour hogfants - what are those wooden things on the last pics?

I really do not know. I had not noticed them before.
Thanks for the replies, guys! Hogfanfs, I appreciate the pics!
Those are either dummy bombs, or real bombs. I know I saw somewhere before bombs being made of wood. I could be wrong though (No sarcasm)
Mike,
I'm in the process of building one right now for the Pacific Carrier GB. It is a very nicely detailed kit, but the mentioned sink holes and eject pin marks are all through the kit. But, they can be fixed.
One disappointment was the IP. It has no detail because they supply a decal. It's not bad, but, considering the detail throughout the rest of the kit, just didn't seem logical.
Also, the engine hub has the plug wires and push rods attached. They don't look to scale, and really look like a bunch of snakes. I trimed them off and will scratch new push rods and add brass wire for the plug wires.
Here is a web page with pics of the cockpit: SB2U This is where I got most of my cockpit information. Althought, I did not follow the pics completely.
Hope this helps some.
I've got the VMSB-241 "Battle of Midway" edition in the stash, very nice kit w/ the usual attention to detail found in other Accurate Miniatures kits. I've built several of their Mustangs & an Avenger, enjoyed them all.

Although I've never built one, I've heard nothing but praises for any Accurate Miniatures kit. I would suspect that the Vindicator would give you the same results. I've got the P-39Q Accurate Miniatures kit in my stash, and just looking at the sprues shows a well-engineered kit. Hope you have great luck with yours!

Build one at a time? Hah! That'll be the day!!
Hello gentlemen! My brother asked me what I would like for Christmas, so I asked for an Accurate Miniatures Wind-Indicator (not so affectionately nick named!). It is a kit I have been wanted for a loooong time, but just never got around to buying. I found a few on eBay for $34 still sealed, but I talked him down to $25. Once it comes in the mail, I will promptly drop it off to my brother for wrapping
Besides the known sink-marks and Ejector pin marks on oxygen bottles, I read it should be a solid kit. Have any of you guys built one? Any comments or concerns with the kit?
