Yep, right at 22-24 inches long, and being a Revell from 20 years ago, it is a good thing I'm an auto body tech and used to sanding filler........

W- Thank you is all I can say, You know if you need anything from over here, all you have to do is ask And I will do what I can.

h-  Thanks, may pick your brain after I get into her.

Got a set of Eduard exhaust coming, but don't know if I want to use them on the RF or the D.  Probably on the RF and get another set later.  "OZ" identifier decals coming as well.

All set now for a mid Feb. start.  Got to dig out the camera and set up photobucket account now.

Art.  That PE is in the post and winging its way to you.  Hope the Xmas stampede doesn't hold it up too much.  Merry Xmas  !

Art,

I picked up this kit on evil bay a few years ago.  Came with the Eduard PE set which I didn't use as I was still a bit daunted by PE.  PM me your address and I'll get it to you.  Cant think of a better home for it.

Dean30-  Going to do a USAF, Udorn RTAFB bird somewhere between '69 and '74.  Found some decals to build an "OO" identifier from around '69.. Bonus is I get decals for Ritchie's F4D from when I was there....  Now will have to get that Tamiya kit....never ending saga.  Box will be full by the time a Feb start gets here.

Also found an "OZ" identifier from '73 when I was there.  But by the time I got there in August I never saw a shark mouth, or any of the other nose art from earlier.  Was all gone by then.

Had an inspection team come in and tell 555th's bossman to get rid of the letting on his squadron C.O.'s jeep door "555th TFS-Largest Distributer of MIG Parts in SEA"  Wish I could have gotten a pic of that before it went bye-bye.

Ordered out a set of sierra hotel model  intakes and trunks for her today, along with a pair of Verlinden seats.  Waiting to see what they will look like when they get here.

My new big baby arrived last week. Box a little rough, but everything still intact and pretty.   Been looking and about the only thing I see available for her from Eduard are seats and some early exhaust for the Tamiya kit.  Are these compatible with the Revell kit, or what kind of mods are needed to get them in.

Also can't find any kind of availability on interior office PE anymore for this kit.  If anyone has a line on a set or one in a stash they might part with, let me know.  Also decals for one of these in the late 60's to mid 70's era.  Was just looking on fleabay and not much popped up.  Going to build her in a SEA scheme.   Planning on the next  Berny GB for her.

Worked on these as an ECM tech from '73 to '76 at Udorn and Shaw.

Thanks,

Art
