Thanks!
Nice build! Keep up the good work!!!
Wow, great job Lee. If you don't mind me asking, what kit did you use? Did you do any A.M.? I'm thinking about putting one of these on my radar, though it may be a while.... Still, after seeing yours I may have to bump it up ;-) Seriously, I'm blown away on this one. You've got some of the cleanest/crisp line work I've seen in a while. Keep up the great work! Raymond

thanks! It is Accurate Miniatures kit. I think the decals may have been aftermarket, but I don't remember for sure. I built this in 09 I think.
Beautiful job on the airplane, but the tail number is for a 36FS/8FG airplane, and they had white spinners. (The 35FS had yellow, 80 had green). All , or at least almost all, of the 5AF airplanes had the white tails and leading edges, though.

Thanks. The markings are what the kit supplied and indicated. I have a Academy 1/72, same exact markings, and online references to this bird show it as well.
Well done Lee. I will be tackling the same kit from my stash soon as well. Thanks for posting.
