Great!! I also got that kit (plus a few ore from them) so I will certainly look on your build diary. BTW - did you get their notes-book about the modell? I boought it and it was really nice with photos showing the real thing as well as discussing the model

Zoukie-Mura liked it too and have posted images of it on the Old Man blog there. :-)

Snap Dragon and I have been posting our build diaries on www.partworkmodels.co.uk/.../index.php, and he had some issues with decals right at the end, but I have had none, as it is a perfectly manufactured kit that I am sure will become one of the "All time classics" in time.

I have made a video of my finished Ho-220 in "Wood Grain" that I have posted on FSM's Facebook as well as Youtube  www.youtube.com/watch.

Let me know what you think.

Salty

I've seen a Horten built this way at Telford this year and they do look amazing, like yours. I have one in the stash and when I get round to it I want to do a mixture of some clear panels, some wood and some painted but I need to have a good think before to figure out which ones to do what way.

Did you find any issues with the kit? I know Snapdragon is doing a build too

I was fascinated by the research I conducted into the Horton 229 to find out that it was completely skinned in ply wood, totally. So I investigated where I could source some "wood grain" decals from and it was www.uschi.com where I found them. I will now post my build diary of exactly how it all turned out.
