This is my second Twogar that I've built. This one was to make the masters for an intake trunking set for Steel Beach. I knew to use Tamiya Extra Thin cement on this one, so it didn't fall apart. Decals were from Furball. I can't wait for the single seater. There are so many schemes to do!

I was wondering if you were having the same issues as the last one. Love that scheme.

Nice and crisp!

I'm not familiar with that jet... why does it has the second windscreen inside the canopy?

Thanks for the kind words. In regards to the second windscreen, I believe it's to protect the rear pilot while the canopy is open. If I recall, they left the canopy open during launch for quick egress. Or was it landing? Or both? :-)  Rex should be able to chime in with the answer.

It was open for both take off and landing with the Single Seater. And since they tried to "train the same way they would fly", it should be the same with the Two Seater. (my way of saying I can't find a landing photo right quick of a -8T, lol)

That sure is a long travel for the canopy mechanism, though,,,,,,I wonder if they had any failures?

Going to be a great looking pair on the shelves, Darren, you must be having a blast in 1/48 land these days. "Banshees and Cougars and Panthers,,,,,,,,oh my"

Great Job, again.

Darren

This must be the Kitty Hawk kit? I just got one on sale from Squadron. How was the overall fit and quality? It looks decent in the box. I've heard of some fit issues with their Voodoo.

Looks like you did an outstanding job.
