Okay, enough of the darkside prop stuff. Back to our regularly scheduled program. I used the Hobbyboss A-6A as the base kit to test out my KA-6D conversion. I also threw on a set of SB intake covers and slime lights. The HB kit is simply gorgeous. It makes me want to build more of them. The SB conversion went in without a hitch. Markings came from an Afterburner sheet. Hopefully when more A-6 decals come out, they will include KA-6D markings as an option.

Darren,

Looks good.

How do HB handle attaching the refueling probe to the wind screen and nose?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. In regards to the probe/windscreen, there is a notch on the windscreen and a hole in nose that the probe fits into. It's a pretty good fit.
