Well I finally finished my second model.  I probably should have tried something easier with my new skills, but once I started it, I was set on finishing it.  The wings didn't fit together at all, it was a crash-course with modeling cement and sanding.  I wasn't completely happy with my work, but the paint covered up a lot of it.  So at least I learned a lot for the next one! Big Smile  It's all hand-painted, because I enjoy the painting process and don't have a proper area for airbrushing yet.

I know!  I forgot about it after I glued it down and didn't want to mess it up.

You're off to a good  start boba. Those old kits are prefect for developing your modeling skills on. They were designed for young boys to spend their allowance on, not the high end builder of todays kits. I agree about you having a go at the canopy framing. Get yourself a nice fine brush, stay away from caffeine drinks, and see what you can do there ;)
