Huh, that never crossed mind, good idea.

modelcrazy, I used masking tape to pull up the stubborn areas. Kinda like using tape to pull up lint from your favorite wool jacket.

Well Beans,

You did a whole lot better with Micro Mask than I could. I just cant seem to peal that stuff off right, without making a mess.

Again, great jobYes

Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

modelcrazy, I used Microscale Micro Mask.

Nathan, I grok your feedback.

I wasn’t really warping myself about historical accuracy on this kit. I really liked the paint scheme that Eduard had on the box so, I went with that.

This was really my first time working with an airbrush and I was just happy to produce something that I thought was kinda neat to look at.

I hesitated posting but I’m glad I threw this out there warts and all. I’ve been lurking for so long that I thought I better start participating and start getting feedback and pointers. I figured it’d be a good way to track my progress too.

I’m glad I did.

Nice work. I like the look of the wing fuel tank gauges. Too bad Eduard just made up their own camo pattern, as it resembles nothing like the real thing. I found when I built this kit that I had to chop off around 3mm off each main gear strut to get it to sit right. The top panel line on the cowling just ahead of the windscreen should have been filled also. Just suggestions for next time.

Nice job, How did you achieve the sharp camo lines?
