Recently wrapped up for the Ground Attack Group Build...

1/72 Sword kit built oob. Great little kit, highly reccomended. (build pics are in the GB thread, starting on P11) The only additions were harnesses from tape & bent wire, and a bomb pulled out of the spares box. Camo colours were mixed Tamiya acrylics. Darker areas are intentional, overpainted Regia Aeronautica markings were replaced with Co-Beligerant markings.

Thanks John!  Your Re.2000 - is that the Special Hobby kit? I have that one in the stash as well actually!  ;)  I'll take a look for yours, nice to see these types built up.

Nice work on that kit !

I especially like the differing shades of green in areas where old insignia would have been blotted out.

Comparison photos of the two, similar aircraft reminds me that modern aviation still also produces similar aircraft from different design bureaus,Hmm

Wow, that's a sweet little bird isn't it. Very nicely done. I can't see those little kits to do them. You guys that do this kinda work must have nerves of steel and eagle eyes. Yes

lol, a RBF tag/tie, I'd wear that... but nobody I know would understand.

Thanks Brandon - I've been building 1/72 for the most part for a LONG time now. It just feels right I guess?

Very well done, Vance.  It's amazing how much those two look alike.
