What would be the best glue for all of the clear parts on the visible P-51. Most canopy glues aren't too strong, so something stronger and crystal clear would be much preferred
Thanks.
I built one (Monograms Phantom Mustang) with Tamiya Extra Thin. The other I built with MM glue (with the metal tip) when I was little
I saw that kit in the last squadron flyer, anybody built it?
Yes, and it's a good model. Believe it or not it was the only 1/32 Mustang D for a long time.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
I would use CA, but then again, I always use CA.
If you building a Stang, why don't you consider joining my Mustang Build. Just follow the link below.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Epoxy is also an old standby for gluing transparent materials- no fogging.

I kinda wanna build that kit,but gluing clear plastic without fogging scares me
What ever happened to the technique of coating clear canopies with Future floor wax to prevent fogging by CA.
No longer valid or not practical for an entire kit in 1/32 ?
I used good old fashioned Testors tube glue on mine. Just use it sparingly and be careful not to get it on your fingers. I would NOT use CA, especially with a setting agent as it will almost certainly craze the plastic
