BT109, I have the kit and I like it. From what I can find on this plane, it looks pretty close. I do wish it came with an engine, but for a 1/48th Trumpeter it's good. Some P.E., good plastic, decent cockpit detail,   panel lines and decals for 2 A/C. I bought the Whirlwind at the same time. Both I think are decent and would buy them again. - Bob

I did get ChuckW's review and that guy is very interesting. I really like his cartoon characters.

Lots of talent on this Forum that's for sure.

My son looked up in our Warplanes of the Luftwaffe and closest we could get was a ME-309.

The 509 looks close(?) but the kit looks so good and my son really likes it that I am going to bite and get it for him.

Thanks again for all your help everyone!!!

I must agree with BlackTulip109 in applauding ChuckW's talent as well as admitting I never heard of any version other than the Me-309.Hmm

That Me-509 looks to me a bit like a Bell Airacobra on steroids............Whistling
